Wall-wrap lets the snake exit one side of the grid and re-enter from the opposite side, eliminating wall deaths. This allows much longer runs but creates tricky self-collision situations.
Snake in its mobile form was pre-installed on the Nokia 6110 in 1997, though maze-chase predecessors date to the 1976 arcade game Blockade.
