Rhythm platformer — tap to jump through obstacles to the beat
Opens in a new tab · No downloads required
An endurance test disguised as a simple platformer. The rhythm-timing skill is uniquely satisfying to develop, and the user-created level scene means the content pool is effectively infinite.
The full Steam version has 21 official levels at launch, with more added through updates. There is also Geometry Dash Meltdown, World, and SubZero — each adding extra official levels. The in-game level browser hosts millions of community-created levels rated from Easy to Extreme Demon difficulty.
Demon is the highest official difficulty rating, applied to user-created levels that are voted as exceptionally hard by the community. Within Demon, the community further ranks levels into Easy Demon, Medium Demon, Hard Demon, Insane Demon, and Extreme Demon — with Extreme Demons being among the hardest precision platforming challenges ever designed.
The unofficial browser version at geometrydash.io includes the core gameplay and a selection of official levels but does not have access to the full Steam user-created level library or account progression sync. The Steam or mobile version provides the complete experience including online level search and profile saves.
