Building point-and-click games... with what?

O wise ones,

I'm really impressed by games like Puzzled-1, Crimson room et al. I was wondering what software is used to make those. Flash & ActionScript, I assume. But how is the artwork done? The 3d effects are great!

We employ a flash animator full-time from Japan. He's currently not in the office, as he's attending to his sick farm animals, but when he's back we'll link him directly to your thread.

Flash is for the coding and structure.

3ds Max is used for the main bulk of the 3d, then put into flash.

Thanks! I tried SketchUp which has the best user interface I've encountered yet. Although I can sketch my entire home in less than 8 hours in SketchUp, animation of a door opening/closing or staged camera flights are not possible.
