Lightbulb Submachines - Walkthroughs

Submachine One: The Basement
(I wrote a new one)
First, go up the ladder and get the valve on the floor. Go back down, go left twice and get the spoon on the floor behind one of the pipes. Go right, then down twice and get the diary on the floor. Go down again, then go right and get the penny on the floor. This is a bell puzzle, what worked for me was 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 3rd. Click the square that appears and get tile D. Go left, then up, then up, then up again. Then go right twice. Click your penny in your inventory, look at the year. Now memorize that, and click the metal box attached to the pipe hanging down from the ceiling. Enter the year as the code. When you hear a noise, it's been entered correctly. Get the fuse and tile C. Go left three times. Put the valve on the dot on the pipe. Now this is different everytime I'm positive, so just keep guessing and turning the valve and when you hear a noise, you got it. Go right twice, then up. Get the pearl on the floor. Go down, then left, then down again. Put the fuse in it's place. Then go down and put the pearl on the other string. When the top opens, get tile B. Now go down and hit the switch. Now put the spoon on the lightbulbs. It will short-circuit and pop. Get tile A. Go up three times. Now put the tiles in their places on the circle. Click the doors when they appear, now the bright white square in the elevator. Hit the top button, then the bottom button. Click the outside. You're out.

Submachine: Extended Version
Stay right where you start… go straight up the ladder and hit the switch. Now go as far to the left as you can (you’ll see a grandfather’s clock) and go up the ladder. Hit the switch and get the wheel/valve. Now go back down and then to the right and put the valve/wheel on the circle in the middle of the big pipe going from the top to the bottom of the room. Next go right again and down the ladder. Click the picture to look at it. Now go to the right, then down, then to the right again. Put the arrow (from your mouse) on the right button of the radio. Keep it on the button until the drawer fully opens… when it does, grab the spoon. Now go to the left, then up, then left again. Then go to the left. Click the bolt on the right and do NOT turn the wheel yet!!! Go down. Grab the penny on the floor. Go up, then right, then back down. Grab the paper on the floor. Read it. Hit the switch. Go down, then left. Now enter the date on your penny into the… um…thing, I guess. Look in the box you just opened and grab the… uh… other thing (whatever that is). Go right, up, then up again, then right, then down. Put the other thing into the open slot… then go all of the way back up. Next go all of the way to the right. Hit the switch. Go right (from the room with the circle on the wall) and then up. Hit the switch. Go back down, then left, then down again. Go down, down again, then down AGAIN, and then right. Hit the 1st bell, then the 2nd bell, and then the 3rd bell (if that pattern doesn’t work… just keep trying, you’ll figure it out eventually). Click the square, get the piece, and then put it in the circle. From the room with the circle on the wall, go down, right, down, right and then up. Get the piece from the huge electro thingy. Go put it in the circle. Go left. NOW turn the wheel (if it doesn’t work try different bolts until you get it… it’s only three of them there’s not much patterns to be tried anyways…). If you hear a noise it works. Once you hear the noise, go right, down, right, down, then right, then down again. Grab the pearl from the floor that fell out of the broken pipe. Next, go over to the grandfather’s clock room again and put the pearl on the other string. Grab the triangular piece. Then go to the big machine all of the way on the right and put the spoon on top of the electro-light thingies. Grab the piece. Put your last two pieces in and click the doors that suddenly appear. Click the white square inside of the doors. Click the top button, and then click the bottom. Go through the blue door for the outside world ahead (and a letter to the editor button, a play again button, and lastly a comment the game button). Or go through the red door for a cool picture of what Submachine 2 will look like!

Submachine Zero: Ancient Adventure
Go left and get TONGUE2. Then go right twice and get TONGUE1, and don't forget the lighter in the wall. Put the tongues on the statues on the sides of the door. Click the middle circle on the door, it will rotate then the doors will open. Click to go inside. Click the hole to go down into the tunnel. Use the lighter to light the candle. Go down. Go left and light the next candle. Go down and click the stone sticking out of the wall with the button on it. Go up. Go left and rotate the block on the stick by clicking it. Go right, then down, then right again and light the candle. Go down and light the candle. Now, go right. Get the JEWEL1. Go left, up, left, up, then left again. Rotate the stone again. Go right, down, right, down, and then down again. Get JEWEL2. Go up, up, left, up, left. Rotate the block yet again. Go right, down, right, down, and then left. Get JEWEL3, and the stone on the right. Go right, up, left, up, right, right. Light the candle. Use the stone you got to block the two bottom spears from coming out. Go right. Place the jewels on the block from top to bottom. Go down. Get the crystal of wisdom. You did it!

Submachine Two: The Lighthouse
Click the Submachine arcade game and get the tiny red ball to the right of the machine on the rocks (Secret [1/20]). Go left four times then up the stairs. Get the cog wheel on the floor and the tiny red ball on the chair (Secret [2/20]). Go downstairs, then go right. Click and drag your wisdom gem into place on the pole with the half-circle on top. Then out of the box a line will extend. Click the silver ball on top to drop the ladder in the room to your right. Go right twice and click the Phonograph (old music player). Click and drag the cog wheel into the square hole and click the circle to the right of it (a little lower than it). Go left to the ladder you dropped and go up it. Go right to the machine and click the dark-gray rectangle on the bottom left of the front of the machine. Write down what C equals (in my case, C=2). Then go back right and up the next ladder. Go into the hole and keep going left until you find a room key. Go back out to the ladder and go up the next. Go right and click into the square hole. Get the fork, up above the hole to the right is a tiny red ball (Secret [3/20]). Go back to the ladder and go up the next. Go left and keep going up the stairs. Tiny red ball in dirt crashed through wall on third floor (Secret [4/20])... but go to the top. Go all of the way to the right. Tiny red ball in dirt crashed through wall (Secret [5/20]). Go left and click a pamphlet. Click the picture of the lighthouse on the wall. Click the dots on the arrow. Write down the dot designs. In my case:

Zoom out twice from picture and go left. Tiny red ball on top of light (Secret [6/20]). Go left three times. Go in the left door and get the cat note on the left shelf. Go back out and use the room key on the right door. Get the sewer key and go back out. Go right and then all of the way back downstairs, then right again. Now go down the ladder. Use the sewer key on the locked hole. Go in the hole. Now, go: Left, down, right (get 2nd floor key), left, up, left, left (get tiny red ball (Secret [7/20])), down, down, right, up (get Letter To Liz) (Three tiny red balls in here, two on ground one in square hole on right wall (Secret [8/20]) (Secret [9/20]) (Secret [10/20])), down, left, up, up, up, left, left, left, left, left, left (get tiny red ball (Secret [11/20]), right, right, down, right (get positive coil), left, up, right, right, down, down, left, down, right (solve the puzzle, make all dots blue), left, down, right, right, up (get switch handle). Finally, leave the hole. To get out: Down, left, left, up, up, right, up, up, right, right, right, right, right, and go out. Go up ladders twice. Click square hole on the right wall. Go right and use switch handle and pull it down. Go out of the hole and go down the ladder. Go left and click the correct tile as shown:
Get the tiny red ball (Secret [12/20]). Go all of the way up the stairs and go right. Go in the metal door. Get the negative coil. Go up twice, use the 2nd floor key. Go in the door. Go in the door on the left and click the typewriter. Get diary 2. Go left and get movie memory. Go right twice and go in the door on the right this time. Click the green light and enter the dot designs you wrote down earlier. Press the green button and zoom out. Get the light bulb. Go right and click on the lines that move as your mouse cursor moves. Get the four tiny red balls (Secret [13/20]) (Secret [14/20]) (Secret [15/20]) (Secret [16/20]). Zoom back out and get note to myself (on the bed between pillows and the folded blanket. Go left twice, out the door, down twice, out the door. Go left and go all of the way down the stairs. Go left and use the light bulb and the movie memory on the camera. Pull down the switch then click on the lens. Click the ID Card and a hand will grab it and push it out of the lens of the camera. It will fall to the floor, get it. Go right and all of the way up the stairs. Go right and into to metal door. Go all of the way up the ladders. Use the fork on the broken power line and pull down the switch. Go in the left door and up the ladder. Click your Diary 2 and see what m equals. In my case: 663. Now solve the equation: e=m*c^2
In my case, the answer is: 2,652 (use Google's calculator feature).
Enter your answer as the code. Go down the ladder and into the right door. Go up the ladder. Get the tiny red ball (Secret [17/20]) on the wire to the light. Solve the puzzle (make all dots green by holding the right buttons for the right amount of time to make all lines touch the gray square in the middle.
Go down the ladder and go left. Go up the ladder twice and go left into the hole (hard to see the holes) and get the tiny red ball (Secret [18/20]). Go back to the ladder and go right into the other hole and use the positive and negative coils. Climb up the ladder twice. Go right and get the digout key. go left and get the portal note. Get the tiny red ball on the floor (Secret [19/20]). Go left and put the ID Card into the slot. Go down the ladder to the very bottom and go out the metal door and go right. Go all of the way to the left and use the digout key. Go in the hole and go left twice, get the tiny red ball (Secret [20/20]). Go left again and get the fuse. Go out of the hole and go back into the metal door. Go all of the way back up to the portal room. Go right and put the fuse in the cylinder. Go right and hit the switch. Enjoy the ending!

Submachine Three: The Loop
- Part 1
Get the device on the floor. Click the button that was behind the glass that is now green.
- Part 2
Go right from the start, use the map (X=the starting point) and go to all the dots and hit the switches.
- Part 3
Once again, use the map, but start in room 1,1. Click the switches Then go to the room it shows (look at your device). Right now you're in room 1,1 (look at device). In my case: 41 is what the device shows. So go to 4,1 if you get that. Click the switch, do the same go to the room it shows, do this six times. Go back to 0,0 and click the green button.
- Part 4
You'll find panels in different rooms (use the map). From the end switch (covered by glass) go up, then left. Find the number that can't be changed, memorize it and go right twice. Find the number that can't be changed, memorize it. Then go left, down, left... find the number that can't be changed, memorize it. Go right twice and do the same. Put all the numbers into the order you discovered them. Now to to each console of numbers and put the code in as follows:
Top Left - First Number
Top Right - Second Number
Bottom Left - Third Number
Bottom Right - Fourth Number
Then go to hit the two switches. Now go hit the green button that has been revealed.
- Part 5
Find all the switches and hit them in order (I'll no longer remind you of the map). First the one with one dot above, then two, then three... and so on. Then go hit the revealed green button.
- Part 6
Find all devices on the wall, set the coordinates for it's position. Remember, A=1, B=2, C=3, and so on. Once finished, hit the green button.
- Part 7
Go to all dots on the map, and find the position in the password for each symbol. Write them all down as you find (make sure you write them exactly, some have differences that may not be noticed). Then go right of the starting point, and enter the proper password, go right and hit the green button.
- Part 8
The map is broken, bummer. Here's what to do and where to do it.
0,-1 (Hit switch)
0,1 (Write down symbols)
1,-1 (Make sure two proper lights are on, matching the first symbol from 0,1)
2,-1 (Do the same, use the second symbol this time)
(Keep going until all are set properly). Then go to 1,1 and hit the switch. Then go to 0,0 and press the green button.
- Part 9
Use the map and go to the ovals. Then go to the console (one down from start) and enter the oval's coordinates, hit the switch. Then go to the oval again and hit the two switches. Do the same for all of the rest. Hit the green button next.
- Part 10
Now the map is missing. Go to 0,1. There's letters and buttons under them. Go to 0,-1 now. Now colors above instead of letters. The letters are the first letter in each color. Set the colors correctly, and the letters, and hit the button below the panel with colors. Go up and hit the green button.
- Part 11
The map on the right is incorrect? Go to the dots... nothing's there! Go left of the start and make this blank map same as the other one. Go below the start, hit the switch. Go back up and hit the green button.
- Part 12
Do what the note says. Look around for a leaf. Bring it to the specified room, and do the rest. Once you've found the leaf, it's easy. Then you're done!

I don't have Extended Version. Thanks for the Submachine v2 walk through. I don't like to type walk throughs anymore. I'll give out what to do and that's it.

PS- Dude, Submachine Zero was easy. The easiest of all Submachines. Version 3 is the hardest. I don't think you can pass it. Version 4 is confusing.

EDIT: WTF did you use imageshack? Imageshack craps up the picture. Remember the Crimson Room picture? Use photobucket next time.

Submachine Four: The Lab
For now, follow the instructions. Go left twice, follow what it says and go down the ladder. Go right and do what it says. Click the ladder to go down it. Click the white jacket pocket and get the NAPHTHALENE, zoom out. Go right and take the green colored RUBBERTUBE from the ceiling. Go right and take the CHIMNEYBRUSH next to the gray box. Get the tiny blue ball from the chair (Secret [1/21]). Go left twice. Go up the ladder then out the window back onto the roof. Go left and use the CHIMNEYBRUSH on the chimney. Go back inside the house. Go right and take the DOORKEY. Go left twice and get the KEY off the rack. Go left and take the GASHANDLE, it's under the table. Use the DOORKEY on the door. Then click to open, click to go inside. Get the tiny blue ball from the floor (Secret [2/21]). Go down the stairs. Go left and behind the trashcan is a tiny blue ball (Secret [3/21]). Click the screen. Then keep clicking the green button until the conversation is over. Zoom out and get the NOTES. Go right three times. On the window sill is a LIGHTER. Go left twice and then go down. Take the BEAKER and then go down. Take the two NOTES off the table. On the floor by the chairs is a tiny blue ball (Secret [4/21]). Go left, click to open door, click to go in. On the sink is some SOAP. Next to the pipes on the left is a tiny blue ball (Secret [5/21]). Put the BEAKER on the metal hatch on the floor. Use the HAMMER on the metal cap on the upper pipes. Go right three times. On the table is a CD. Go up the ladder. On the table is IRONTRIOXIDE. Go right and get the SCREWDRIVER on the table. Behind the yellow pipe is a tiny blue ball (Secret 6/21]). Travel all of the way back to the rooftop. Go left and up the ladder. Go left and use the SCREWDRIVER on the valve. Get the VALVE. Go back all of the way down to the first floor again. Go left twice and use the VALVE on the circle on the vertical (up and down) pipe. Click the VALVE. Get the FULLBEAKER. Go right three times, then go up, and then right again. Use the GASHANDLE on the hole in the yellow pipe. Use the RUBBERTUBE on the lower hole of the yellow pipe. Click the GASHANDLE. Click the gray handle on the burner. Put the FULLBEAKER on top of the burner. Use the lighter on the burner. Put the following ingredients into the beaker in the following order:
SOAP
IRONTRIOXIDE
NAPHTHALENE
Get the ACIDIOXIDE. Get the TESTER. Go left, down, then left three more times. Put the tester on the hatch on the floor. Turn the valve and then take the WATER. Go right four times and use the KEY on the door. Click to open, click to go in. Ring the bell. Use the ACIDIOXIDE on the metal box on the wall. Take the NOTES. Enter 104 as the code. Push the button. Go right, then down. Click the first and fourth switches. Go right, take the KNIFE. Take the BLOCADE. Ring the bell. Go left. Put the first and fourth switches up, and the second and third switches down. Go left. In the rocks in the corner is a tiny blue ball (Secret [7/21]). Get the STONEKEY. Go right. Move the second switch up and the first and fourth down. Go up and take TILED. Use the BLOCADE on the circle hole and the STONEKEY on the square hole. Go down. Move the second switch up and the third switch down. Go up, go right. Take TILEB. Go left, then down. Move the third switch down. Go up twice. Use the hammer on the cracked square. Take the tiny blue ball (Secret [8/21]). Go up. Get TILEC. Go up and use the knife on the string. Go down four times and take TILEA. Go down and get the tiny blue ball (Secret [9/21]). Place TILEA, TILEB, TILEC, and TILED in their proper places on the wall. Press the button that is revealed. Go up twice, left, then up again. Take the COIL. Go left and get the NOTES. Go right and then down. Enter in 690 this time, hit the button. Go right, then down. Take the NOTES. Go left and on the floor by the door on the right is a tiny blue ball (Secret 10/21). Go left, then up. Make both numbers -1. Push the button. Go down, push the red button. Go up. Make left have 0 and right have 1 and push the button. Go up and then right. Push the red button. Go left, then down. Make them both say 1. Hit the button. Go up, then right twice. Hit the red button. Go left twice and then go down. Make left 1 and right 0. Hit the button. Go right twice and push the red button. Go left twice, then up. Click the glass circle. Get the ORB. Go down and then right. Punch in 529 and hit the button. Go right twice and put the COIL into place. Click the lever. Take the CHARGEDCOIL. A tiny blue ball is in the second outlet on the wall, where the plug is not in (Secret 11/21). Go left, thend down. A tiny blue ball is on the ground on the right side of the machine (Secret [12/21]). Go left and take the NOTES. Put the CHARGEDCOIL into the machine. Hit the switch. Take the COIL. Get the CHESTKEY. Go left, then down, and then right. Recharge the COIL yet again. Take the CHARGEDCOIL. Go left twice. Punch in 001. Hit the button. Go left four times, then go up twice. Go right and put the CHARGEDCOIL into the machine. Click the lower screw. Get the tiny red ball (Secret [13/21]). Take the CHARGEDCOIL. Go left, then down twice, then right four times. Punch in 551. Push the button. On the ground on the right is a tiny blue ball (Secret [14/21]). Go left. Get the NOTES. Push the upper button on the pad. Go right. Punch in 462. Push the button. Go right, a tiny blue ball is on the floor (Secret [15/21]). Go right and use the hammer on the lock four times. Click where the lock fell off from. Get the TURBINE. Go left three times. Take the NOTES. Go right. Punch in 770. Push the button. Get the NOTES. Click the shapes on the right wall. Circle, sqaure, triangle. Circle has zero sides, square has four sides, triangle has 3 sides. It's a code: 043 is what it is. Zoom out. Punch in 043. Push the button. Go left and use the water on the giant round glowing circle. Get the SCEPTRE. Go left. Ring the bell and take the NOTES. In the corner on the floor is a tiny blue ball (Secret [16/21]). Go right twice. Punch in 800. Hit the button. Use the LIGHTER on the lamp (hard to see). Behind the lamp's pole is a tiny blue ball (Secret [17/21]). Go right and ring the bell. Use the SCREWDRIVER on the four screws of the panel on the wall. Get the tiny blue ball (Secret [18/21]). Use the KNIFE on the wires. Go left twice and get the NOTES. Go up the ladder. Use the LIGHTER on the lamp. Go right, then up the ladder. Use the LIGHTER on the lamp. Behind the lamp's pole is a tiny blue ball (Secret [19/21]). Place the TURBINE in the right spot, and close the door on it. Go down and push the button. Go right and take the NOTES. Click your NOTES and click note number 14. New code: 728. Use the CHESTKEY on the chest. Click to open. Get the ARM. Go left twice, then down the ladder, then right. Punch in 462 and push the button. Go left. In the hole is a tiny blue ball (Secret [20/21]). Go right and punch in 104. Push the button. Go up. Put the CHARGEDCOIL into place. Go left and pull the lever. Click the eyepiece of the telescope. New code: 452. Zoom out. Go right, down. Punch in 452. Push the button. Go left and put the ARM on the statue. Put the SCEPTRE in it's hand. Click the note and read it. Go right. Take the tiny (normally blue) gray ball (Secret [21/21]). Look at the upper right corner. 596 is a new code. Punch in 728 and press the button. Take the tiny blue ball from the top left speaker (Secret [22/21]). Go right and put the secrets into the hole. Go right and look into the camera. Go right and look into the camera. Go right and look into the camera. Look into the last two on the right. Go left six times. Punch in 596. Push the button. Go left. Click wall switch. Done!
