Back when it was released, you can create your own levels in Sneak. Anything you want, as long as you can pass it so it would be fair to everyone else, but now you can't do that.

So don't expect the game to come out tomorrow. Otherwise I'll have to rush it and we'll end up with a rubbish game.

I may be looking for beta testers to have a play on the game before I release it and find/report any errors. But I'll let you know more about that when it gets closer to becoming a playable game.

Sorry for the long post, if you read it all then you probably have too much time on your hands.

Make the new one work on a grid, or at least provide the option to use or not use a grid. For example, everything will snap to the nearest grid space when moving an item around, but you should be able to hold down a key or use an option to move and place objects freely. It's sort of awkward sometimes when trying to put walls and stuff together. I think walls should work as tiles though... Maybe also rotation should work along 15 degree intervals. That way, we could make things face perfectly diagonal, or some direction in between, and it'd be easier to place and modify things so that they look good together. One more thing, you should be able to rotate things in BOTH DIRECTIONS. Oh... MAN! The rotation in only one direction thing DROVE ME NUTS because I'd have to wait forever to make something face a little bit in the other direction if I made a mistake with rotation... Who else knows what I'm talking about? Anyway, are you going to PM us with links to the beta or what?

Sorry Jamifa but the level creator is already nearing completion, so I won't be putting a grid system in. The game is too open and flexible to need a grid system.

As for rotation, the old Sneak was made a long time ago. I assure you the new editor has a much more sophisticated rotation system.

Anyway, you'll see it all when I release a beta. It's not ready quite yet as I have run into a few other things to sort out first. However I will create a new thread on the forums, and reply to this one when beta testing is ready.
