How do you get out of the room you get into by using the "soiled linen" chute? I can't find a way out, I got the key out of the sodium and found the lighter in there, if that has anything to do with it. Someone please help!

Let me try out the game myself first before trying to help you out.

Jamifa you need to use the lighter, on the right side of the room on the wall next to the cabinet is a black line. You need to put the lighter at the bottom of it and it will burn the wall down.

here's a walkthrough i hope its clear enough-

Remember to visit your room when you have to or it will be game over!
Click the paper on the side for a bit of background information, go out of the room and into room 2, click on the metal frame of the bed until you find a wrench. Go out of room 2 and turn right, go forwards once then click on the draw to receive a purple bulb. Now pull back and click on the door and go down the stairs. Under the chair that is now in front of you, you will find an id card you will need this later. Go back up the stairs, turn around till you are looking at some objects on the right, click on the blue jar that is acid then go back into your room. (room 1) turn to look at the lamp and plug it in by clicking the cable at the bottom, now place the bulb into the lamp and click it. It should light up and show an “X” on the floor, pour the acid onto it to reveal a piece of paper. Now turn to the bathroom and go in. flush the toilet and make note of where the drip comes from, used the wrench where it comes from to unscrew it, then flush again. A hole will appear in the ground. Take out the red box that is in the hole and go back into room 1. Turn towards the bed and look under the pillow for the key for the red box. You will receive another scrape of paper. Go out of the room and turn right. Go along the corridor and click on the white door screens on the left. Drag the first screen on the left to the side and click on the black thing at the bottom and the last scrape of paper on the top corner next the towels. You now have the lock combination to the soiled linen chute. Click on the scrapes of paper to see the combination, look on the left above the chair and click, now click on the blue lock and enter the code. Then down the chute. On the second shelve there are two orange objects one behind the blue box another in the middle select both. Turn to the right and pick up the blue filled jar. Then click on the cabinet, and open the right side. Take out the purple liquid. Turn back to where you first came in and select the yellow thing. This will tell you that you mix chemicals here. Place the blue jar there first then the oval orange thing inside; add the purple stuff and a key will fall to the ground. Pick it up then turn to the Right wall and light the black line on the wall with the lighter. This will allow you to exit the chute. Click on the left side of the wall to face a door. Use the key to open it then go downstairs. Click on the screens like before and slide it across to reveal a drill at the bottom. Attach it to the black thing (battery) that you collected before. Withdraw from the screens then click on the left in front of them. You will come to the exit door, but this isn’t the end. Click on the green key on the right and pick it up once it has fallen. Go back to the first bit you see once having gone down the stairs and click on the right opposite the exit door. Insert the ID card into the slot on the left to the elevator and press the green button. Once inside the elevator push the bottom button. The elevator will take you to a new room, light the lamp on the left by clicking on it then select the hammer on the left. On the left is a dark circle, use the green key on it to make a weird light appear. Use the drill to drill hole in all the spots the light shows then use the hammer on the same wall until you make a hole. You have escaped!

Take the key and then if u see on a wall, there is a thick black line! Use the lighter at bottom of line. It should open door to get out!For the rest, i'll let u figure it out!

The game was easy once I figured out how to get out of the room you get to by using the soiled linen chute. I thought I had tried using the lighter on the crack on the wall before... guess I didn't do it right. I finished the rest of the game(both before and after the soiled linen room) myself, it was actually pretty easy, but it got you thinking. You know, I usually find stuff(like the ID card) waaaay before I really need them. At that point, I'm usually like, "What the...?", then -- about ten minutes later -- I think, "What the heck is this for?!", then I find out what it's for about a minute after that and I'm like, "Oh... ok then." lol
