I'll have to be the boring one and go for GTA: San Andreas. I love this game. It has everything. Great graphics, great story, the plot is awesome and the audio is amazing. I bought this game in November of last year and I'm still playing it.

If not SA, I'd have to say Enter The Matrix for PS2. This game has a lot to offer, eg awesome moves, great audio, fantastic graphics and the plot, again, is brilliant.

Definitley two games to go out and buy.

The Dynasty Warriors games can't be matched, seriously. I have literally clocked at least several weeks worth of combined gaming time on DW4: Empires alone! Plus, there isnt really a genre to specify the DW series, they're just too awesome.
