Default Dial-up Compatibility?

Hello. I just found this place and tried to load Arabian Knight and Just Another Escape. Arabian Knight stopped after loading some, so I reloaded it and it got a few millimeters further on its progress bar; I've reloaded it more since then and not gotten any further. Just Another Escape hasn't even shown its screen despite several reloads.

I'm sure this is related to my dial-up connection, so I wonder what I can do to optimize it for this site. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.11 (Down with Internet Explorer!), in case that matters. (I cannot get broadband yet; I'm in a hole for all possible methods except maybe wireless.)

Thanks!

Try using AOL or something like that. Maybe there might be a problem with the game. Try reporting the game.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think I'll be changing dial-up services, because I expect broadband to be available soon. And I don't think it's the games' faults, because everything, from pages to file transfers (in particular) to embedded media, stops in the middle all the time. I guess I'll try a game every once in a while and add any that work to my favorites.

Sometimes it's the games' fault. They need to be tuned up a bit, that's all.
