In my opinion, Barack Obama is an excellent choice for President. He is well-educated and well-spoken. He has great ideas and conveys the charm and diplomacy to unify the nation. Barack is not only a African decent, but also he is most qualified candidates of the election. Also he has strong ideas for changing the nation from incompetent mismanagement of Bush.

| ![]() omg people- people! This morning on the news they showed clips from the two men (Obama and McCain) addressing crowds. McCain handed the microphone to a woman in the crowd so she could make a comment. She said "Obama's an Arab anyway!" Mr. McCain then just shook his head saying 'no, no.' I can not believe that so many people think that!! I respect Mr. McCain but it is true that so many of the people voting for him are- umm, I can't think of a nice word-- He does get all the racists and rednecks which unfortunately there are still so many of... O and don't even get me started on his choice for running mate. What was he thinking? haha He must've been thnking Obama would choose Mrs. Clinton as his v.p. so he'd beat him to the punch by choosing a female himself. But that woman!! OMG if god forbid McCain were to die in office, she could not be trusted! OK I'm off my soapbox now! I hope no one considers this off-topic. It would certainly be a dull topic if we just give our choice and- zip- that's all. And it's not as if it really is another topic! I only check in rarely so I've gotta get my two cents in!! ![]() O, and by the way, it's because of the republicans that we are being taxed so much this time. When the last democrat left office we were doing great financially! And that's even after returning alot of gov't programs that helped the poor. Which republicans always slash and do away with. Yea, republicans would rather rich people stay rich than help the poor at all. They seem to want to return us to having a wide gap between classes. That's absolutely un-American. And look at our economy right now!! I'll betcha all the idiots that made all those ridiculous decisions weren't democrats! A few weeks ago I was gonna rant about all the money they've spent on this ridiculous invasion/war, but alot more went into our economy's problem than war spending. And the trickle-down theory never has worked but they keep trying it. (which is basically lets let the rich stay rich so they can create jobs for the poor) OK now I am in danger of going off-topic, sorry, I'm done now! Last edited by Lydia1974; 10-12-2008 at 02:13 PM. So yeah, let me explain something. Starting with McCain. McCain - Another George Bush to me. He's at an old age. He won't be in the house for long. He's pretty much racist for fighting Asians in the Vietnam war. Obama - The KKK will have a big problem with this guy. There's a chance they'll kill him. I don't know if you guys know but they're getting bigger over time. Combining the three government branches can cause a big problem. I'm going to say Hilary is the smart one for running for Vice President because if Obama, or McCain dies in the house, she automatically becomes President. So yeah, I'm not going for anyone this time. There's no one to vote for in my opinion. |

Go Mcain. Here is the reason why i don't like obama. Well cause my family is a perfect family and we worked hard to get it this way. I worked and I am not a lazy person. I worked for my money. If Obama gets it then he will raise the taxes highly for the rich, a little bit for the mediums and won't raise taxes at all for the poor. So when he raises the taxes i will be paying them to help the poor which i don't think is fair because i worked my but off to get to where my family is and that doesn't mean i have to spend MY money to help lazy ass people that can't work for themselves. There is alot more to why i don't like Obama but i don't feel like typing it all. Vote for Mcain. Ps:The only reason why Obama got into the senate was because it was in Illinois and they didn't have a lot of people running for senate in Illinois so he ended up getting into the senate cause no one else ran for it. Pss: If Obama becomes president he will most likely be assassinated leaving Joe Biden to become president.......I think Joe Biden is just a regular person but he is a democrat.
