I disagree. I have worked tech support for 3 major isp's in the states.

The highlight has to be the guy from hawaii who couldnt connect to his wireless internet. he was visiting a friend in los angeles and demanded I help him connect to his home wireless router...

or the people who when asked for their phone number + area code always quote their zip code ..

or the people who claim to be network techs/admins who dont know how to access the command prompt ..

or those who complain they cant connect after stating they disallowed internet explorer from connecting via their firewall software ..

or those who say I don't have a start button on my desktop, all i see is my mouse and keyboard ..

or those who don't know what the address bar is, or how to type into it ..

or those who when asked what they use to access their email, state "internet express"

or those on macs .. get mad coz there's no right mouse button like you use with a windows machine ..

or those who call in and demand we teach them how to use office software, 3rd party softwares or help them with torrents ..

ah torrent users. do they not realize everything they say is recorded and documented on their accounts ..

the list goes on and on.
there's a reason why tech support csr's refer to customers as starfish.
