Inventory – The side bar containing items you pick up

Examine – Double click on any item in your inventory to open up the item for examination. Clicking the item further may trigger responses.

Use – Using an item requires you drag the item onto the desired object.

Return – Returning to the screen before requires you to press the arrow at the bottom or right.

STEPS

1. Click the chair in front. Click the tray and grab the green comb.

2. Return and go right. Click the chair on the left. Click it again and grab the blue key underneath.

3. Go right and click on the chair to the left. Grab the cellphone on the chair.

4. Go right and click on the chair. Click the rubbish bin twice and grab the blue business card under the table.

5. Examine the business card and note the number on the back.

6. Examine the phone to key in the number from the card. A message will appear in the phone, note the message in the phone.

7. Return and click on the books at the bottom shelf. A book should fall and you can grab the remote.

8. Click the cash register. Click on the grey lump hiding behind the laptop and grab the mouse.

9. Examine the mouse and grab the batteries inside it.

10. Examine the remote and use the batteries on it. You now have a working remote.

11. Click the laptop and turn it on by pressing the top right button on it. Key in the message from the phone.

12. Scroll through each file and search for a set of numbers at the bottom of one of the files. The number generated and location is always random. Note the set of numbers in the file once found.

13. Return to the cash register. Key in the numbers found in the file. Use the blue key on the cash register and click photo inside to examine it.

14. Go down twice. Go right 4 times. A heater should be in sight. Use the working remote on the heater.

15. Return and go right. Click on the bottom left corner of the door and grab the silver key on the floor.

16. Click on the black speaker in the top left corner. Click it repeatedly to grab the rust remover.

17. Return and go right 3 times. Click on the door in the far corner and use the silver key on the door.

18. Click on the door and enter. Go right for a better view of 2 chairs. Click the left chair. Grab the hair dryer on the table and the mannequin below it.

19. Examine the mannequin. Use the green comb on it to obtain the rusty razor blade.

20. Examine the rusty razor blade and use the rust remover on the rusty razor blade. You now have a smooth blade.

21. Return and click on the chair to the right. Click on the right side of the mirror. A gap is revealed and you can grab the piece of mirror.

22. Return and exit the room. You are now back in the corridor looking at the door.

23. Go down. Go right 3 times. You are now facing the huge mirror. Click on the power socket at the bottom and use the hair dryer on it.

24. Return and click on the mirror. Use the hair dryer on the mirror and drag it all across the mirror until some letters form.

25. Return and go right 4 times. Use the piece of mirror on the mirror to reflect “WIECAR”.

26. Go left 6 times and click on the laptop. Enter it and click on the file named “Number”. Use the green comb on the letters until you see “hthi”.

27. Use the piece of mirror on the letters to reveal the words “White Chair”.

28. Exit the computer and go down twice. Go right 3 times. Click on the white chair. Use the smooth blade on the white chair. Click on the white chair again to grab the gold key.

29. Return and go left twice. Click on the door in front of the register. Use the gold key on the door.

You win the game.

Personal Thoughts

Nothing quite like waking up and finding yourself locked in the hair salon. Your mission? To escape the hair salon by obtaining a myriad of items scattered all over. Nothing new. The game has a semi creepy atmosphere hinting at something amiss within the mirrors of the salon. Perhaps something from beyond? The visuals are great and the interface is easy to use. It’s hard to lose track of where you are because the room isn’t very big and the puzzles can get tricky. I’d recommend this game.
