INTRODUCTION

TERMS USED

Inventory – The button at the top right hand corner containing any items obtained.

Use – Using an item requires you to click the desired item in the inventory and then dragging it onto the item you wish to use it with.

Grab – In order to keep the item in possession, drag it back into your inventory.

INVENTORY

In order of the items obtained chronologically through this walkthrough.

1. Torch

2. Rubber Gloves

3. Video Tape

4. Red Towel

5. Silver Key

6. Gold Key

7. Toilet Roll

8. Shower Knob

9. Candle

10. Key

11. Matches

STEPS

1. Click on the door. In the hallway, click the front door on the left. Click the front door again and a hand will appear.

2. Now that you’re back in the room again, click on the top shelf of the blue drawer. Grab the torch and rubber gloves.

3. Grab the video tape on the desk.

4. Click on the door and enter the hallway. Enter the toilet and click on the red towel. Use the red towel on the mirror. A face will appear.

5. Grab the silver key on top of the basin.

6. Go to the toilet bowl on the right. Use the rubber gloves in your inventory and grab the gold key inside the toilet.

7. Use the toilet roll on the empty toilet roll holder. A hand will appear again.

8. Examine the hand print and open the shower door. Open the door and click on the hair. A ghost will appear, immediately start pressing the spacebar repeatedly! If you die, you will have to walk to the toilet and repeat the scenario again.

9. When the ghost dissappears, open the shower door again to grab the shower knob.

10. Return to the bedroom and use the gold key on the chest. Click the chest to obtain a candle.

11. Enter the hallway and use the silver key on the master bedroom door.

12. Use the shower knob on the cabinet below the TV. This will reveal a VCR.

13. Use the tape on the VCR. Play the video.

14. Click on the light shining under the bed and immediately start pressing the spacebar repeatedly!

15. Click under the bed and grab the key.

16. Use this key on the drawer in the corner to obtain a box of matches.

17. Return to the hallway and use the matches on the candle.

18. Use the candle and go to the front door.

You win the game.

Personal Thoughts

Interesting game. Darkness Episode 1 can be rather scary at times. I mean, even though you know the ghost is coming it still makes you jump a bit. I flipped biscuits in the shower room scene... Though I must say that the lack of background music does affect the overall gameplay. Definitely recommended for anybody who loves a scary setting and shock scares.
