INTRODUCTION


TERMS USED

Inventory – The sidebar on the bottom containing all the items obtained.

Grab – In order to grab an item, click on it.

Examine – Click on about item at the bottom of the side bar to examine an item.

Use – Using an item requires you to click the desired item in the inventory and then clicking on the item you wish to use it with.


INVENTORY

STEPS


1. Click on the hand rest in the middle and grab the flashlight.

2. Go right twice to the backseat and grab the screwdriver.

3. Click on the hand rest and grab the small key inside the ashtray.

4. Return to the backseat. Click the bottom of the screen. Click on the right hand mat and grab the knife.

5. Return to the back seat. Click the top of the screen. Use the knife on the bulging part of the ceiling and grab the wiring guide.

6. Return to the front seat and click on the locked compartment. Use the key on it and grab the batteries and electrical tape. Use the batteries on the flashlight to obtain flashlight w/ batteries.

7. Return to the back seat and use the knife to cut the straps of the middle seat.

8. Key in E40 (the information is on the speedometer for those interested).

9. Use the flashlight w/ batteries on the trunk.

10. Use the screwdriver on the cracked red wall and grab the key.

11. Return to the front seat. Click the pedals and use the screwdriver on the box.

12. Click and use the electrical tape on the red, blue, grey and green wire. (the information is on the wiring guide in your inventory, read it if you want to know).

13. Return to the steering wheel and use the key to start the car.

14. Return to the pedals and click the trunk button.

15. Return to the trunk and click on the unlocked trunk.

You win the game.


Personal Thoughts

A fast and straightforward game, I enjoyed the fact that Afro-Ninja (the maker) tells us at the very beginning of the game that there is no story. There is no pretense that something bigger is happening beyond the room. We are simply escaping from a car and we have to do it as fast as we can, great. The puzzles aren’t incredibly challenging, focusing more on finding the well hidden items. I did not enjoy the constant clock ticking in the background but then again it puts the pressure on to complete the game faster. Play this game if you think you’re up for the challenge.
