Red face

omg people- people! This morning on the news they showed clips from the two men (Obama and McCain) addressing crowds. McCain handed the microphone to a woman in the crowd so she could make a comment. She said "Obama's an Arab anyway!" Mr. McCain then just shook his head saying 'no, no.' I can not believe that so many people think that!! I respect Mr. McCain but it is true that so many of the people voting for him are- umm, I can't think of a nice word-- He does get all the racists and rednecks which unfortunately there are still so many of... O and don't even get me started on his choice for running mate. What was he thinking? haha He must've been thnking Obama would choose Mrs. Clinton as his v.p. so he'd beat him to the punch by choosing a female himself. But that woman!! OMG if god forbid McCain were to die in office, she could not be trusted!
OK I'm off my soapbox now!
I hope no one considers this off-topic. It would certainly be a dull topic if we just give our choice and- zip- that's all. And it's not as if it really is another topic! I only check in rarely so I've gotta get my two cents in!!

O, and by the way, it's because of the republicans that we are being taxed so much this time. When the last democrat left office we were doing great financially! And that's even after returning alot of gov't programs that helped the poor. Which republicans always slash and do away with. Yea, republicans would rather rich people stay rich than help the poor at all. They seem to want to return us to having a wide gap between classes. That's absolutely un-American. And look at our economy right now!! I'll betcha all the idiots that made all those ridiculous decisions weren't democrats! A few weeks ago I was gonna rant about all the money they've spent on this ridiculous invasion/war, but alot more went into our economy's problem than war spending. And the trickle-down theory never has worked but they keep trying it. (which is basically lets let the rich stay rich so they can create jobs for the poor) OK now I am in danger of going off-topic, sorry, I'm done now!
