I need to make more rule amendments before we get too far.
You must use a word that hasn't been said and pertains to the topic
You may use two or three words for descriptive purposes or if the other words are commonly used with it and rarely anything else, for example, computer monitor may be used as one submission, since computer isn't usually used with anything that doesn't have anything to do directly with computers.
Words that look and sound the same as another word already said may be used as long as it means something different and pertains to the topic, for example wind can be used more than once, since it means a few different things, but only if your version of it also pertains to the current topic.
Users should provide a brief description of their word to avoid confusion in ANY CASE, like I did above.
Things that are used with a word already mentioned, and only for that, or are attached to that item may not be used except in certain situations. For example, table has been said for furniture, which means that "table leg" or "table top" can't be used. However, the main exception is that, if the topic pertains to that item it's used with or attached to, you may use the word, so if the topic is "table parts", you can say "table leg" or "table top". An example of "words that are used with a word already mentioned, and only for that" would be "monitor" if someone said "computer", but "keyboard" may be used again if it pertains to an electric piano. Another exception is wind/sail, since wind is something that has to be harnessed, you can't just "use it" with the sail the same way you'd use a keyboard with a computer, so the two could be said separately in the same round.
Word synonyms are not allowed if they mean the exact same thing or if they are too similar, if you're not sure, just say it anyway, and I'll tell you if I think the words are different enough. Sofa and couch are the exact same thing, but if you were to say "love seat", that may be an exception because, technically, a couch is for three or more people, and a love seat is for two. Also, look at rule 11 for another exception.
Words that include an already mentioned word may be used if they mean different things and pertain to the same topic, like "key" and "keyboard" can both be used, as long as "key" means something that opens a lock or an answer key, or a legend(on a map), etc. etc.
Words that mean the same thing in a different language, dialect, or spelling are not allowed. For example, you can't say mesa(Spanish for table), because table has been said, you can't use some kind of literary tool that renames it(different dialect) like "family gatherer" if pertaining to a table, and you can't use "colour" if "color" has been said, or gray/grey.
If you wrote a word that breaks one of the rules and someone says something after it before anyone catches the mistake, you have to correct it in a new post as soon as possible, which means you'll need to come up with a new word and also have to submit another when it becomes your turn again.
A three-day delay means you are automatically kicked out of the round, we won't have any way of knowing if your out of the game or not.
If someone makes a submission ouf of turn(including if they're not even in the round), you may use a synonym for that word, since it's not a legal submission, but not the same word, since you still have to think about it a bit.
General words that may not always refer to something that pertains to the topic may not be used. For example, "heating element" may not be used for "appliances", since it may simply refer to an open flame in some cases.
I think that should cover a few more things. I'll be the authority on enforcing the rules, but if a difficult decision comes up, I may need to take a vote.
It's GameChat's turn, also please state who's turn it is next after you submit, refer to the list given at the top of page 2...
