Hi alponaster,
you will find the inventory box at the left top side of the screen...it green in colour. You collect the items by pointing shaggy n scooby to the item and press the space bar....you will able to see the items in the inventory box immediatly.
Tips; do try the coconut tree when you pick up the flute...you will have to get the coconuts that will be used to distract the angry native....(press the space bar either to collect stuffs or using the stuffs that you have collected.
